Lenggong

Took a trip to Lenggong last week. It's one of the up-North districts of Perak. Went to visit a friend who owns an organic farm there. He's the first friend I have from Czech Republic.
The journey there took almost 4 hours. Finally reached Lenggong and he brought us up to his farm. The road there was "really fucked"..well, that's how everyone describes it lolz.
I drove up the hill or should i say mountain and my bro drove down.. It's about 1500 feet above sea level.. He served us some Plumb Liquor.. really good stuff.. homemade and guess what? it's i think at least 40% alcohol.. Neat!!

Basing on the price, Tasek was up by RM0.50 to RM3.80 and Padini closed at RM 2.42 with a drop of RM0.08.

I was thinking that Ziwei Berhad should have ranked the lowest today if it existed.. with a lost of RM276….

The Things We Do

I've been here and there the past few days.. I had always knew where Taylors and Segi was but not UCSI. Well, not until now. SO to find both Taylors and Segi is no issue at all. Went to UCSI with a friend yesterday early afternoon.. Looks like I wont be doing Business Admin there. Like the atmosphere though!

New-NEP

The Global economic crisis has hit the world harder this year. You may have heard of this joke from the 1997/98 economic crisis.


God decided that the time has come and this world should come to an end. So God called upon the 3 world leaders; President Bill Clinton of USA, Zhang Zhi Ming Communist Party President and Premier of China, and most of all.. Prime Minister Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir.
God told the world leaders that the world would end in 3days.. and commanded them to convey that message to their respective people.

Bill Clinton said to the US people " I have good news and bad news. The good news is that God spoke to me, the bad news is that the world will end in 3 days."

Zhang Zhi Ming said : " I have bad news and worse news. The bad news is, there is such a thing as God. The worse news is that the world will end in 3 days"

Dr. M told the Malaysians : " I have good news and even better news. The good news is that God spoke to me. The better news is that our economic crisis will end in 3 days!! "

Here is something I thought of earlier today. As the heat of the economic meltdown kicks in in 2009, the Malaysian Government has introduced various plans and schemes to tackle it.

However, some say that it isn't very effective in boosting the economy. As some of us know that the population of Malaysia is 27.7 million. What if we hooked up with some of the 3rd-world countries or should we say the poorer ones... and introduce a scheme whereby say.. One Million Malaysians (the ones which are hit the hardest by the crisis) migrate there and start a new life and perhaps start a little enterprise..

Assuming each of the One Million brings along RM 5000.. there would be 5 Billion Ringgit... it means 10 Trillion Ruppiah or 9.5 Billion Yuan or 37 Billion Rupees. A real boost for their economies.


Then we one way or another, get one million Matsalleh fellas from The US of A to migrate here. Those guys who just can't make ends meet living on the dough why not? say each person brings USD 5000.. That's about 17 Billion Ringgit pumped into our economy.


PS: One million more in a third world country won't make much of a difference and vise versa for the first world countries.


Does that not help the crisis globally?

A Quickie

Just a quick update.. Im downloading this song called Real Love..I rewrote part of the song to suit the situation and that sorta feeling between my sweetheart and myself.. a simple yet beautiful song.. They say that songs which are from limewire may contain viruses so now Im using easyMule.. man.... it's in chinese!!
I can afford to stay up a little late tonight coz work starts at 4pm tomorrow. Im just going through blogs and cutting songs.

Owh, and I was in PJ SS2 yesterday.. Saw this volvo for sale...in very good condition but going for RM32,ooo...........out of da question Joe!!

Its 1 something in the morning and the time on my comp reads 4:01AM.. I think its because I have the habit of removing the battery from the laptop while using direct current..It prolongs the battery life supposedly..

The past 24 hours I did a few things... hmm.... let me see, went for yumcha session till 4am? woke up and attended Catholic High School's Interact IU in the morning... CHS is my brother's old school and so I drove in like a hero oni.. cey...hehehe.
I remember once I went to CHS many years ago maybe when I was say... 13 or 14? I went to their Prefect room and conteng-ed some crap on the door.... ok so back to the point, IU.. the songs were good but the play could have been a little better. I remember those days I had to dress up in full Leo uniform and stuff. I wore my old LEO name tag there today.



Went for early dinner and attended the Puchong Community Orchestra and Choir concert in Shah Alam to show support for some family friends. They were fab!!
btw, YB Teresa Kok was there too :)

Watched the movie I had been wanting to watch for the last few day.. The Great Escape.
I've watched it a long time ago. Oh no no.. not when it was first released. lol It's a good movie and there's much that can be learned from it.. to synchronize and to harmonize while being tactful.
Staring Steve McQueen and James Garner(I think he resembles Pierce Brosnan).
Owh and I took these pictures and a video while watching...it's 3 and a half hours long almost.

Woke up late today.. extremely late in fact........ Couldn't quite sleep last night. So i tuned in to Lite fm.. there was this old song i found kinda catchy : The Night Chicago Died by Paper Lace.
Still wide awake so got up and made myself supper... cracked 2 eggs, sliced some cheese, a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper and into the toaster !! It's easy.lolz

Owh and by the way, the 4 number didn't strike.. I bought 1089.. It opened 1080. Bugger!!!
almost got RM2500... say my cut is 10%, thats still something.haha

Was having my lunch in Jaya33 earlier today when a call came in. My fiend wanted me to help him buy a 4D number. so on the way home, stopped by and bought it. The number is 1089.. he asked to buy RM 5.00
If it strikes, I want 10%. hahaha

A Calm Before A Storm

A return trip to Malacca yesterday. Drove half the way there and half the way back... I wonder if it reflects my personality.... lol
Neways, spent most of time walking from shop to shop and stall to stall... the food there was nothing to scream about.. The Melaka Sultanate Palace lies at the foot of St. Paul's Hill. I think the tourists would stand a greater chance of getting lost in CHS...
It was as sunny as any other day and started to rain in the evening.. Luckily we brought along the treasury to bail us out of the restaurants. hahhaa

Gans & Noses

Recently, I got myself indulged in certain odd delicacies..
my school friend brought me to a night market about a week ago.. there, we bought some fried Bishop's Noses... lol Cheap!! real cheap..
It was tasty but perhaps a little fattening. went back for more the other day..

And I'm sorry I hadn't been updating my blog often enough.. well, not that I've been very busy or anything.. But yeah. Hahahha i'll be a son of a "Gan" !!

Today I searched all over the house for my result slip for MUET which I took in 2007. I found it in an ordinary pile of miscellaneous papers... it is perhaps the "Keep first la.." instinct which I have in me that you know... enable me to find old stuff from all over the house which i kept ages ago.. it usually takes a day of 2 to locate anything in my house..
efficient eh? hahaha
