The Longest Day

The Longest Day started Friday evening (17th July) when I started to pack some stuff. By the time Kinng finished work and got over to my house, we had barely enough time to spare before Lucas came along with Jacqueline to pick us up for a quick mamak session at Steven's. Aroon or otherwise known as Aaron was busy with something else.
Soon after Lucas dropped Kinng and I back to my house, we both left towards Genting's.. And having a JPJ roadblock didn't really help in getting there any faster. It was about 1AM when we arrived and so we entered Genting Hotel as we were told by the girls. crept in the elevator and went straight to the 9th floor, walked up the stairs to the 13th floor thru the fire escape. (The lift refused to take us to the 13th floor) Being primitive people, we didn't realise that the 10th floor and above were suites and we monkeys are prohibited without a room key. OK, what goes up must come down.. then Kinng got smart and called the girls :) ok..so someone got the hotel wrong :s
Straight to 1st floor, then to Highland Hotel. Up to 13th floor then to room 13390. Finally!!
Now I know that it's possible to sweat in Gentings. Eureka!!

Played cards with the girls for a bit, then the PS2 then for a walk followed by a little to drink to keep us warm for the night. Woke up, read the papers..talk cock..made coffee..eat.. left.

By the time the 4 of us got down, we got hungry and ate in PJ Section 11. Sent Fiona and Shereen to Fion's home, went back to my house and slept for bout 2 hours before preparing for Kinng's birthday celebration at Look Out Point. All met up in Happy Garden before leaving and got there a little late.. ordered, talked cock, took pictures, wined and whined and blah blah blah.
Our good friend JOE was trying to make his way here and didn't quite know the way. Eventually we met up in Caltex somewhere don't know where... 2 cars met up back at Fiona's house. JOE managed to drove with only his left foot as he got cut and had 9 stitches on that night itself. Champion !! Went in 2 cars to meet Aaron and his 2 friends in Taman Petaling, PJ. JOE was seriously in pain and so we mixed him a drink to ease the pain.. well, he says it worked.
After some tani for Joe, Kinng sent yee mun and aaron home. while I drove Joe to my house and gave that poor injured man some supper and a bit more to drink. He was good to go and so I piggybacked him to his car just by the road. I slept after a bath which was around 4 AM..
Kind of unhealthy but anyhow, I hope I pass the essay.

Kinng and country

Okay so my friends and I went on a boating trip in PD yesterday :) The 5 of us gathered by 9am and took off after breakfast.
We were lucky to find this "pakcik" who was kind enough to let us use his electricity as we wanted to pump up our boats quicker. So after all that, we finally headed to the shore and then started to paddle ! We brought both our boats along.. the big one to carry people and the smaller one for stuffs.
I think it was about 11 plus when the boats managed to reach The Island.

Genting Trip

Went up to Gentings the other day and spent the whole day at the theme park :)
The journey there after passing Awana was so misty that we had to on the fog light and we decided to let a car go slightly ahead of us to be our minesweeper. hehee And also, in one of the pictures, you can see that when we were at Dinosaurland, I managed to catch a real life baby dinosaur..and the species is said to be Pussysaurus or something like that. lolz

Letter of resignation

I recently resigned from my part time job and so I thought I might as well write them a sarcastic resignation. They weren't the most kind to me and they always pay late so instead of a simple half paged letter, I wrote them this....

It's been awhile since I last posted anything.. sorry for that.. I was a lil tied up with work and also the outings. lol
I resigned from my part-time job and am a little freer lately. Now Im looking for something... gtg !

Day Trippers

Woke up after an hour's nap and made a call.. Kinng drove over to my place and we set off to Barisan Nasional land after breakfast. It wasn't long before we entered
Mohd. Hassan's territory. Parked our car on the sea sand and began to pump.
We paddled ourselves away from public sight and there we found an island. Decided to dock there and chill a little on the island while hiding from the late-morning sun. Got back home by evening.

Went to some God knows what place Club in KL on Thursday night. Which was the day that Jaya Supermarket collapsed. She came and picked us up and after turning a few corners, we found ourselves in KL.. lolz Got back home really late. Slept for an hour and had to get up for the boating conquest.

Paid a visit to an old buddy the other day. Picked up Firdaus and Kapteijn from Sunway then went over to Taman Desa where some rich kid stays. Hahaa
I remember those days in form5 during recess, Idham would call us, I'd drive to PJ Old Town..Idham and Kapteijn would run down to buy McD's and we'll go back to class to eat. One time we even bought pizza I think.. lolz
We never got caught for that.

Guess who I met today?
It was World No.1 (Men's Singles) Datuk Lee Chong Wei !!!
He was walking around with his Girlfriend Wong Mew Choo.. They are really humble and nice people. Spoke to me in Mandarin sumore.. he asked me where to pay and stuff.. haha
Some kids caught him to take pictures and all..

The last one week

When I was working last week, an European guy walked in with his bodyguard. He was asking about this and that.. after I found out he was Italian, I asked him from which part of Italy.. Came the answer "Milano"
And so I asked him : "La cosa nostra?"
He asked me whether I speak Italian.. I said no.
Then he said yes, he is a Cosa nostra.. Then he left.

The last one week I'd been working and didnt have too much time off.. so here are some pictures and a video of what happened.

In these bad times...

It's been ages since i saw a pile of cash. It's always a pleasant sight and a lovely smell. And I always hate seeing money go. There's this company with government backing offering a joint venture. With promising returns...
Anyone who wants to know more about this investment can let me know :)It's got something to do with worms.

Gimme some truth, gimme some sleep

Today at work we had a meeting at some cafe in mid valley..The manager from HQ keeps thinking that I was asleep during the meeting. I wasn't really listening but I wasn't asleep. Hahaha.
After seeing this picture taken earlier on today.. I think I know why she thought I was asleep.

Sampaikan Salam

It was a working day for me today.. decided to take a walk around Mid Valley during my break. Walked to Speedy Music Store to check out some CDs and Movies.
Guess who i saw? A man with Afro hair just walked in the store.. didn't say a word.
It crossed my mind that it could be the guy from The Alleycats. Wanted to say hi but i wasn't sure whether it was Loga or David.. I forgot which one had passed away.
I stood next to him and was looking at P Ramlee while he looked at Alleycats. Then he walked off...
Wanted to shout : SAMPAIKANLAH SALAM !!! to him but he disappeared faster than a pickpocket. Ended up buying 2 movies; A Bridge Too Far and Funeral In Berlin.. both are old movies.

Anyway, I still haven't gotten my salary for April. So I'm broke.
Let's share and buy a boat.. watcha say?

Conventional convenience?

Much of the untold stories that had happened in Malaysia are told in the foreign media. I see more rubber bullets in KL from BBC, CNN or even Al Jazeera rather than from RTM or TV3.

I remember once I was watching some foreign station and I saw that Anwar Ibrahim had returned to Malaysia from Germany.. It was like wth?? SINCE WHEN DID HE GET OUT OF JAIL?
The local media never said anything.. Anyway that was back in 2004 i think.

The internet fascinates me. I often like reading the news from my comp instead of the papers. Less wool over the eyes..can see better that way. A real convenience also.
Just sit, relax and read.
Browsing thru friend's blogs to catch up on the latest. I'd rather read than call :)
But then again, it's always a slight risk posting up too much personal info online. So be cautious not to divulge excess info. And thats why I dont have a link of my friends blogs here although I'd like to...

I downloaded an e-book for free.. then i bought the book in MPH later..Convenient as it may be, there's nothing like reading a book..a real book.
